Our periodontal practice is in Courtenay, BC. Dr. Johnston has been practicing in this location since 2005, and each member of the office lives within the Comox Valley, enjoying all that it has to offer.
We strive to provide state of the art periodontal care in a comfortable and friendly atmosphere. Dr. Johnston is an experienced periodontist and attained her dental degree in 2000 from the University of British Columbia. She spent 2 years practicing as a dentist in Squamish, BC before returning to the University of British Columbia to complete her degree in periodontics. She is a board-certified specialist in periodontics and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada.

Our office provides a variety of specialized care, including the treatment of periodontal disease, grafting, regenerative treatment, crown lengthening and various other procedures involving the tissues surrounding teeth and implants.
We have four experienced hygienists with combined work experience of 75 years – the majority of which is in periodontal practice. Three experienced Certified Dental Assistants and three savvy receptionists complete our team, who also keep our practice running smoothly.
